Matthew 25:13 "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." King James Version
The excerpts below are just a few pertinent quotes from, "Running From Martial Law." They are taken randomly throughout the four part book. They are included to give you an idea of how the subject matter of the book is presented. Enjoy!
Excerpt from Part one, chapter 17:
“Barb figured that when “And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together;” [from Revelation 6:14] will be the defining moment Jesus will catch the faithful believers away to Himself to the person of God. She said the next thing we will know is Revelation chapter 7–the standing before God saying: “Salvation to God who sits on the throne and to the Lamb.”
I couldn’t imagine what she was saying would happen, but she was literally glowing, and I was happy she was happy. With sweeping arms she described the heavens departing as a scroll when right before my eyes, she dematerialized–literally.”
Excerpt from Part two, chapter 2:
“Somehow a list of who we were and what we are good at doing had been catalogued and we were being found and put to work against our will at jobs we didn’t like. The farmers were seeing their whole farm’s inventory on paper before their eyes as government officials come to take 30% of everything. No choices were being given. A tacked on meaning to what “eminent domain” actually means was their answer to the farmers’ question of “who gives you the right?”
Excerpt from Part three, chapter 2:
“The [martial] laws seemed changed every day for the better or for the worse, and for the most part they were for the worse. If anybody protested or resisted unfair demands, they were sent straight to jail after being beaten with clubs into submission.”
Excerpt from Part three, chapter 10:
“I confessed right off the top that I had maxed out yesterday. I had a moment where I felt I needed to go back and just help Pa and Ma. But when I came to myself after the persecution report and realized what Joe and Marty saw [the beheading by men and women by patrols] just might be me down the road, well, it was okay with me. It would just mean I go home and see my caught-away friend, Barb and rest in the bosom of God. I would love that so no more fear. No more going terror-stricken. It is more important than ever to find and invite believers into salvation through Jesus Christ. “We must push on,” I said.”
Excerpt from Part four, chapter 17:
“As I was about to stand up, I became aware of a presence and heard a voice say, “Hello, Hannah.” Absorbed in the garden work I forgot to be careful and had my right hand extended as I stood and turned to shake hands with whoever was there. It was Jesus! He took my right hand with His left hand and we stood holding hands. He had such a smiling love on His face, and I was full of worshipful awe.”
